Jim has 12 years of journeyman,installation, and management experience in the high rise construction and installation of marble and granite. He began his sign industry career with Vision Signs. Over the years Jim has worked with large sign companies such as TFN Architectural Signage, Inc., Sign A Rama, and Sign Rescue Sign Installation. He is perfect to head up our installation department because of his 14 years of sign installation. Whether it is an interior lobby sign, high rise impact graphic, or an architectural sign that is illuminated Jim has the experience and problem solving skills to make it happen.

WHAT ROLE DO YOU PLAY AT INSIGNIA?
Jim is one of our installers mostly on complex projects. He installs signs everyday as well as mentors our team of installers. Jim brings an added dimension to our team with his diverse signage background including his extensive design experience and his knowledge of the structural, economic and aesthetic implications of all sign types. If the job is complicated in any way, you can be sure Jim has reviewed it, planned for it, or is even onsite making sure everything is right.

WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF WORKING HERE?
I love being a part of a fun team that I would have fun hanging out with outside of work. I like working on jobs that seem to be impossible, require high quality, and seriously, I like the customer service part of things.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT SERVING THE INSIGNIA CUSTOMERS?
One thing that I enjoy the most is talking with the customer after the installation. I love connecting with the client, showing them why we do what we do, and why their sign is so awesome.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
Can I tell you something...I am happily married and I love being a dad. I am not afraid to work hard, like new ideas, and always like to do a job right. I take pride in a job well done even if it means I have to go an extra mile, stay later, or work hard to achieve it. I like to laugh and participate in a practical joke (at the giving end or receiving).

HOW WOULD OTHERS DESCRIBE YOU?
Always wanting to make you laugh, hard working, and I would hope people say I have a sincere caring heart.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
People might think I am just saying this, but I really am inspired by a job well done, a pleased customer, and the Lord. To be honest with you, many times people say or ask me if I am religious. I just say "no, I just love the Lord".

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO HAVE FUN?
I like to go on spur of the moment adventures with my family and friends. Whether it is a trip to 7-11 or the mountains, I like the adventure that we "make it". I like to deep sea fish, go for walks in the park, hikes in downtown San Francisco, or anything really. It is all fun.
