Joseph began Blasted Wood Products in 1995 as a division of Third Floor North Company. In 1998 TFN took a risk and isolated their wood fabrication department making it a separate entity and handing the reigns over to Joseph. They did this because of the natural ability they recognized in Joseph even as a teenager when he began working for them in 1992. His exceptional artistic aptitude and love for building coupled with his vision, work ethic and integrity worked together to make Blasted Wood a success. In 1998, Joseph saw great potential for BWP and purchased Blasted Wood Products in full from TFN and moved to a larger facility. In 2004, realizing that the name Blasted Wood Products no longer was serving the company well, Joseph changed the company name to Insignia in the hopes that it would better encompass all he had grown the company to be while leaving room for the continued expansion of the company into new markets. Today, Insignia still grows exponentially each year under Joseph's leadership. This past year Insignia doubled size again and continues to take on larger jobs.

As owner of Insignia Joseph wears many hats including sales and sales training, technical training, business development. If it needs to be done Joseph knows how to do it.

Having fun doing anything with my wife, spending time with my children, mentoring people, teaching the children at church, playing sports (Tae Kwon Do, softball, basketball, football, golf, competing in anything like tossing a paper ball into a trash can, traveling with friends, baseball games, game night)
