COVENANT CHURCH, Redwood City, CA
Insignia was hired to create a cross that would replicate
the cross of Christ from Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ. Utilizing
an aluminum frame clad in HDU we finished the cross to look like realistic
wood. We then created "shackles" out of peened (hammered) aluminum
painted to look like wrought iron without the weight that held ropes to
raise the cross. We also created a new monument for the exterior of the
building. |
